Subject: Availability Of Optional Heavy Duty Rear Axle.

The steer pin weldment of Rear Axle ASM (100-6566-03) may break if repeatedly side

loaded and impacted during operation, such as when impacting curbs and operating the

machine in an aggressive manner.

This bulletin announces the availability of optional stronger axle configuration with a

larger pin size. 2WD Rear Axle Kit (106-8060) includes the necessary items to convert

a 2WD unit to the heavier design.

The cost of this kit will be high compared to the original replacement axle since a

number of additional parts are needed to complete the conversion. In some

circumstances it may be determined that it is more cost effective to install the original

replacement. For this reason the original axle part number will remain available
