Subject: Areas to inspect for potential leaks.
Two areas have been identified as potential sources of hydraulic leaks.
1) Rear wheel motor traction hoses pass under the left rear corner of the oil pan and
may contact the sharp edge of the oil pan.
2) The hose clamps retaining the hydraulic oil cooler hoses may be turned allowing
contact with the radiator.
Whenever a machine is being serviced, inspect and correct the following conditions.
1) Verify the Rear Wheel Motor hoses do not contact the oil pan. If contact is observed
reposition the hose retainers or ties allowing the hoses to relax so the engine can
move without contacting the hoses. Hoses should be replaced if damage has
exposed the steel braids.
2) Verify the oil cooler hose clamps do not contact the radiator fins. If the hose clamps
contact the radiator, turn the engine off and relieve all pressure from the circuit.
Loosen and rotate the clamps so they do not come in contact with the radiator when
tightened.
Contact your local Toro Distributor for assistance with any necessary repairs.
