Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the wire(s) from the spark plug(s) before you do any maintenance. Set the wire(s) aside so that it does not accidentally contact the spark plug(s).

4. Using the dimensions shown in Figure 3, locate, mark and drill a 1/2 inch diameter hole in the control panel. Figure 3 Figure 1 1. Battery box cover 5. 2 Install the Light Assemblies Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Light bracket 2 Carriage bolt 2 Nut 2 Light assembly Procedure 1. Using the dimensions shown in Figure 5, locate, mark and drill (2) 1/2 inch diameter holes thru the operator platform floor plate. Figure 5 2. Using the newly drilled holes, mount the light bracket to the underside of the floor plate with (2) carriage screws and locknuts. Position the bracket as shown in Figure 6. 3.

Remove and discard the existing negative (-) battery cable clamp bolt (Figure 8).
