Important:Useofanyotherltermayvoidthe
warrantyonsomecomponents.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,lower
thecuttingunits,stoptheengine,engagethe
parkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
2.Pinchoffthehosetotheltermountingplate.
3.Cleanaroundtheltermountingarea.Placea
drainpanunderthelter(Figure64)andremove
thelter.

4.Lubricatethenewltergasketandllthelter
withhydraulicuid.
5.Ensurethattheltermountingareaisclean.
Screwthelteronuntilthegasketcontactsthe
mountingplate;thentightenthelter1/2turn.
6.Releasethehosetotheltermountingplate.
7.Starttheengineandletitrunforabouttwo
minutestopurgeairfromthesystem.Stopthe
engineandcheckforleaks.
ChangingtheHydraulic
Fluid
ServiceInterval:Every400hours
Iftheuidbecomescontaminated,contactyour
localTorodistributorbecausethesystemmustbe
ushed.Contaminateduidlooksmilkyorblackwhen
comparedtocleanoil.
1.Turntheengineoffandraisethehood.
2.Disconnectthehydraulicline(Figure65)or
removethehydrauliclter(Figure64)andlet
thehydraulicuidowintoadrainpan.Install
thehydrauliclinewhenhydraulicuidstops
draining.
