Situation:
Important Information
The “charge” hydraulic hose (105-7927) between the hydraulic filter manifold and
the traction pump is routed so that it may allow contact with the #3 deck carrier
frame when the deck is raised. Repeated contact between the hose and the carrier
frame could result in hose damage and possible oil leakage.
Correction:
Change the charge hoses’ fitting locations on the lower pump fitting and swap the
hose positions so that the charge hose can no longer contact the deck carrier
frame. Follow the drawings (in sequence) included in this bulletin.
Caution: Routine maintenance procedure calls for replacing the o-ring any time a
face seal connection is loosened or disturbed. Due to confined access to these
fittings, we recommend careful handling of the hoses and fittings to prevent o-ring
loss or damage. Minimal movement of the loosened fittings may allow repositioning
and tightening without the need for o-ring replacement. Be sure to check final work
for leaks when the repair is complete. Replace any o-rings where leakage is
evident.
