Position the machine on a level surface. Set the parking brake, lower the cutting units, turn the ignition off and remove the key. 2. Disconnect the negative (black) battery cable from the battery. 3. Mount the new A/C pulley to the engine crank shaft with 3 bolts (M10 x 60) and lock washers (Figure 1).

Model 4TNV84T-ZMTR • Loosely mount the top of the A/C bracket to the engine with a M8 x 100 hex head bolt and a thin spacer (Figure 3). Secure each set of compressor mounting flanges to the A/C bracket with a M10 x 110 hex head bolt, 2 M10 flat washers, a lock washer, and a M10 hex nut.

Press down on the idler pulley to properly tighten the belt and then tighten the idler pulley bolt. Proper tension will allow 3/8 inch (10 mm) deflection when you apply 22 kg (10 lb) on the belt between any span of the pulleys. 10. Loosely install the elbow fitting into the compressor port shown in Figure 5. 11.
