Installation

1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.Settheparking

brake,lowerthecuttingunits,turntheignitionoffand

removethekey.

2.Disconnectthenegative(black)batterycablefromthe

battery.

3.MountthenewA/Cpulleytotheenginecrankshaft

with3bolts(M10x60)andlockwashers(

Figure1).

Thespacerpartofthepulleyistobepositionedtoward

enginepulley.Torquetheboltsto47–57N-m(34–42

ft-lb).

Model 4TNV84T-ZMTR • Loosely mount the top of the A/C bracket to the engine with a M8 x 100 hex head bolt and a thin spacer (Figure 3). Position the spacer between the bracket and the engine. Secure each set of compressor mounting flanges to the A/C bracket with a M10 x 110 hex head bolt, (2) M10 flat washers, a lock washer and a M10 hex nut.

7. Route the new belt around the pulleys, as shown in Figure 6. Figure 6 1. Engine pulley 4. Belt 2. Flange nut 5. Compressor pulley 3. Idler pulley 8. Press down on the idler pulley to properly tighten the belt and then tighten the idler pulley bolt. Proper tension will allow 3/8 inch (10 mm) deflection when 10 lb. is applied on the belt between any span of the pulleys. 9. Loosely install the elbow fitting into the compressor port shown in Figure 5. 10.
