•Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingor

overspeedtheengine.

•Stoponlevelground,lowerthecuttingunits,

disengagedrives,engageparkingbrake(if

provided),shutoffenginebeforeleavingthe

operator'spositionforanyreason.

•Stopequipmentandinspectthebladesafter

strikingobjectsorifanabnormalvibration

occurs.Makenecessaryrepairsbeforeresuming

operations.

•Keephandsandfeetawayfromthecuttingunits.

•Lookbehindanddownbeforebackinguptobe

sureofaclearpath.

•Nevercarrypassengersandkeeppetsand

bystandersaway.

•Slowdownandusecautionwhenmakingturns

andcrossingroadsandsidewalks.Stopblades

ifnotmowing.

•Donotoperatethemowerundertheinuenceof

alcoholordrugs.

•Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.If

lightningisseenorthunderisheardinthearea,do

notoperatethemachine;seekshelter.

•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine

intoatrailerortruck.

•Usecarewhenapproachingblindcorners,shrubs,

trees,orotherobjectsthatmayobscurevision.

•Theoperatorshallturnonashingwarninglights,

ifprovided,whenevertravelingonapublicroad,

exceptwheresuchuseisprohibitedbylaw.

MaintenanceandStorage

•Disengagedrives,lowerthecuttingunits,move

tractionpedaltoNeutral,setparkingbrake,stop

engineandremovekey.Waitforallmovementto

stopbeforeadjusting,cleaningorrepairing.

•Cleangrassanddebrisfromcuttingunits,drives

andmufer.Letenginecoolbeforestoringanddo

notstorenearames,andenginetohelpprevent

res.Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.

•Letenginecoolbeforestoringanddonotstore

nearame.

•Shutofffuelwhilestoringortransporting.Donot

storefuelnearamesordrainindoors.

•Parkmachineonlevelground.Neverallow

untrainedpersonneltoservicemachine.

•Usejackstandstosupportcomponentswhen

required.

•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith

storedenergy.

•Disconnectbatterybeforemakinganyrepairs.

Disconnectthenegativeterminalrstandthe

positivelast.Reconnectpositiverstandnegative

last.

•Usecarewhencheckingblades.Wraptheblades

orweargloves,andusecautionwhenservicing

them.Onlyreplaceblades.Neverstraightenor

weldthem.

•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.If

possible,donotmakeadjustmentswiththeengine

running.

•Chargebatteriesinanopenwellventilatedarea,

awayfromsparkandames.Unplugcharger

beforeconnectingordisconnectingfrombattery.

Wearprotectiveclothinganduseinsulatedtools.

•Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandall

hardwaretightened.Replaceallwornordamaged

decals.

Hauling

•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine

intoatrailerortruck.

•Usefullwidthrampsforloadingmachineinto

trailerortruck.

•Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,

chains,cable,orropes.Bothfrontandrearstraps

shouldbedirecteddownandoutwardfromthe

machine

Thisproductiscapableofamputatinghandsand

•Checkthesafetyinterlockswitchesdailyforproper

operation.Ifaswitchshouldfail,replacethe

switchbeforeoperatingthemachine.

•Usingthemachinedemandsattention.T oprevent

creeks,embankments,orotherhazards.
