StoppingtheMachine
Tostopthemachine,releasethetractionpedaltotheneutral
position.
Settheparkingbrakewheneveryouleavethemachine.
Remembertoremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
attempttomoveoroperatethetractorwhileitis
unattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsettheparking
brakewhenleavingthemachineunattended,even
ifjustforafewminutes.

Thedeckliftswitchraisesandlowersthemower
deck/attachment(Figure14).Theenginemustberunning
foryoutousethisswitch.

Important:Donotcontinuetoholdtheswitchback
afterthemower/attachmenthasfullyraised.Doingso

Note:Tolockthemowerdeck/attachmentinaraised
position,raisethedeckpastthe15cm(6inch)position,
removetheheightofcutstoppin(refertoAdjustingthe
Height-of-Cut),andplacethepininthe15cm(6inch)
height-of-cutposition(Figure16).
EngagingthePowerTakeOff(PTO)
Thepowertakeoff(PTO)switchstartsandstopsthemower
bladesandsomepoweredattachments.
1.Iftheengineiscold,allowtheenginetowarmup5to
10minutesbeforeengagingthePTO.
2.Whileseatedintheseat,makesurethetractionpedalis
intheneutralpositionandtheengineisatfullthrottle.
3.PulluponthePTOswitchtoengageit(Figure15).
