cap(Figure33)andaddoiluntillevelreachestheFull
markondipstick.

betweentheupperandlowerlimitsontheoil
gauge.Enginefailuremayoccurasaresultofover
llingorunderllingtheengineoil.
6.Installtheoilllcapandclosethehood.

1.Removethedrainplug(Figure34)andlettheoilow
intoadrainpan.
2.Whentheoilstops,installthedrainplug.
3.Removetheoillter(Figure34).
4.Applyalightcoatofcleanoiltothenewlterseal.
5.Installthereplacementoilltertothelteradapter.
Turntheoillterclockwiseuntiltherubbergasket
contactsthelteradapter,thentightenthelteran
additional1/2turn.
Important:Donotover-tightenthelter.
6.Addoiltothecrankcase;refertoCheckingtheEngine
OilLevel.

AdjustingtheThrottle
1.Movethethrottleleverforwardtothefrontofthe
controlpanelslotandthenmoveitbackapproximately
3mm(1/8inch)outoftheFASTidledetentposition.
2.Checkthepositionofthespeedcontrolleveronthe
enginefuelinjectionpump.Thespeedcontrollever
shouldbecontactingthehighspeedscrewwhenthe
throttlecontrolleverisintheFAST(detent)position
(Figure35).
