tosearchforleaks.Hydraulicuidescapingunder
pressurecanhavesufcientforcetopenetratethe
skinandcauseseriousinjury.
Beforedisconnectingorperforminganyworkon
thehydraulicsystem,allpressureinthesystemmust
berelievedbystoppingtheengineandloweringthe
cuttingunitstotheground.
Iftheenginemustberunningtoperforma
maintenanceadjustment,keephands,feet,clothing,
andanypartsofthebodyawayfromthecutting
units,attachments,andanymovingparts.Keep
everyoneaway.
Donotoverspeedtheenginebychanginggovernor
settings.Toensuresafetyandaccuracy,havean
AuthorizedToroDistributorcheckthemaximum
enginespeedwithatachometer.
Theenginemustbeshutoffbeforecheckingtheoil
oraddingoiltothecrankcase.
Makesurethatthemowerfueltankisemptyifthe
machineistobestoredinexcessof30days.Do
notstorethemowernearanyopenameorwhere
gasolinefumesmaybeignitedbyaspark.
Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorifassistanceisdesired,contactan

continuedsafetycerticationofthemachine,use
onlygenuineTororeplacementpartsandaccessories.
