•Makesurethatallhydrauliclineconnectorsaretightand
allhydraulichosesandlinesareingoodconditionbefore
applyingpressuretothesystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinholeleaksor
nozzlesthatejecthydraulicuidunderhighpressure.
Usepaperorcardboard,notyourhands,tosearchfor
leaks.Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecanhave
sufcientforcetopenetratetheskinandcauseserious
injury.
•Beforedisconnectingorperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem,allpressureinthesystemmustbe
relievedbystoppingtheengineandloweringthecutting
unitstotheground.
•Iftheenginemustberunningtoperformamaintenance
adjustment,keephands,feet,clothing,andanypartsof
thebodyawayfromthecuttingunits,attachments,and
anymovingparts.Keepeveryoneaway.
•Donotoverspeedtheenginebychanginggovernor
settings.Toensuresafetyandaccuracy,havean
AuthorizedToroDistributorcheckthemaximumengine
speedwithatachometer.
•Theenginemustbeshutoffbeforecheckingtheoilor
addingoiltothecrankcase.
•Makesurethatthemowerfueltankisemptyifthe
machineistobestoredinexcessof30days.Donotstore
themowernearanyopenameorwheregasolinefumes
maybeignitedbyaspark.
•Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructionsdescribed
inthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsareeverneededor
ifassistanceisdesired,contactanAuthorizedToro
Distributor.
•Tomakesureofoptimumperformanceandcontinued
safetycerticationofthemachine,useonlygenuineToro
replacementpartsandaccessories.Replacementparts
andaccessoriesmadebyothermanufacturerscouldbe
dangerous,andsuchusecouldvoidtheproductwarranty.
