1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.

2.IfthereareturnindicatorsontheROPSposts,removetheturnindicatorsandthemountinghardware

fromtheROPSposts.

Note:Retaintheturnindicatorsandmountinghardware.

3.Removethebolts,washers,andnutsonthelowerframe(Figure4).

Note:Retainthebolts,washer,andnuts,butdiscardthethrustwasher(item34inFigure4).

4.Removethefrontroadlightsandmountingbracketsfromthefrontplatform(Figure1).

Note:Retainthelightsandhardwareforinstallingthelightsonthesunshadelight-mountingbracketslater.

Procedure 2 Note: If you are installing any of the 2 Post ROPS Extension Kit optional accessories, review the install manuals for both kits before installation. Assembling the Kit 1. Install the front mount base onto the floor panel with the fasteners that you removed in procedure 1, step 3 (except the thrust washer). Torque the bolts to 129 to 157 N∙m (95 to 116 ft-lb). 2.

11. Install the grab handle with 2 carriage bolts (5/16 x 3/4 inch) and 2 flange nuts (5/16 inch) as shown in Figure 4. 12. Install the front lights onto the front left and right braces (Figure 1).
