1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutofftheengine,

removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchandengage

theparkingbrake.

2.IfthereareturnindicatorsontheROPSposts,remove

theturnindicatorsandthemountinghardwarefrom

theROPSposts.

Note:Retaintheturnindicatorsandmounting

hardware.

3.Removethebolts,washers,andnutsonthelower

frame(Figure4).

Note:Retainthebolts,washer,andnuts,butdiscard

thethrustwasher(Item34,Figure4).

4.Removethefrontroadlightsandmountingbrackets

fromthefrontplatform(Figure1).

Note:Retainthelightsandhardwareforinstallingthe

lightsonthesunshadelight-mountingbracketslater.

Procedure 2 Note: If you are installing any of the 2 Post ROPS Extension Kit optional accessories, review the install manuals for both kits before installation. Assembling the Kit 1. Install the front mount base onto the floor panel with the fasteners that you removed in procedure 1, step 3 (except the thrust washer). Torque the bolts to 129 to 157 N∙m (95 to 116 ft-lb).
