thechute-controlrodinthedirectionthatyouwishto
directthesnowstream.
Toadjustthechutedeector(andthereforetheheight
ofthesnowstream),squeezethetriggerandraiseor
lowerthechutedeector(Figure14).

WARNING
Agapbetweenthedischargechuteandthe
chutedeectormayallowthemachineto
throwsnowandobjectsinthedirectionofthe
operator.Thrownobjectscouldcauseserious
personalinjury.
•Donotforcethechutedeectortoofar
forwardsothatagapappearsbetweenthe
dischargechuteandchutedeector.
•Donotadjustthechutedeectorwiththe
powercontrolbarengaged.Releasethe
powercontrolbarbeforeadjustingthe
chutedeector.

Neveruseyourhandstocleanoutthe

1.Shutoffthemotor,removetheelectric-start
button,andremovethebatterypack.
2.Wait10secondstoensurethattherotorblades
havestoppedrotating.
3.Alwaysuseaclean-outtool,notyourhands,to
clearthechute.
