Gearboxcapacity:207ml(7oz).
1.Positionthemachineandbloweronalevel
surfaceandlowertheblower.
2.Removethe5boltsandwasherssecuringthe
gearcasecovertotheblower(Figure24).

Dischargedairhasconsiderableforceand
couldcauseinjuryorlossoffooting.
Parkthetractionunitonalevelsurface,
disengagethePTO,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeadjusting
thepositionoftheblowernozzle.
1.Checkthenozzleclamp(Figure26)dailyto
ensurethatistight.
Note:Thenozzlecanloosenifitisdragged
overobstaclesorthroughlowareasinthe
terrain.
2.Tightentheclampfastenerstomaintainagap
of1.3cm(0.50inch).
Thenozzleshouldrotatefreelywhenyoumove
itbyhand.
