parkingbrakeandadvancethemachineforward,reset
theparkingbrake.

acrossstump,advancingthemachinebeforeeach
sweep,cutting1/2inchto1inchdepthofcutwith
eachsweep.
11.Continuecuttinguntiltoplevelofstumpisallremoved,
makingsurenottocutstumpdeeperthangroundlevel
duringthisrststage.
12.ReleasethethrottlesothatitisinDisengagedposition,
pushthehandledownenoughtoraisethecutting
wheelofftheground.Waittensecondsforthecutting
wheeltostoprotatingthenreleasethebrakeandpull
themachineawayfromthestump.
13.Rakethechipsawayfromthestump.
14.Movethemachinetothefrontofthestumpandset
theparkingbrake.
15.Holdthethrottleagainstthehandlesothatitisin
engagedposition,thiswillengagethecentrifugalclutch
andthecuttingwheelrotates.
16.Continuecuttinguntilthelevelofstumpisdeeperthan
groundlevelasdesired.
17.Stopthemachine;referto
StoppingtheEngine(page10).
Note:Donotletthefrontoftheunittouchthe
grounduntilyouaresurethecuttingwheelhasstopped
turning.

Arotatingcuttingwheelisverydangerousand
cancutandamputatehandsandfeet.
Stayattheoperatingpositionandbesurethat
thecuttingwheelhascometoacompletestop
beforedoinganythingelse.
