•Stopthemachine,stoptheengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,raisetheblades,anddisconnectthe
spark-plugwirebeforeadjusting,cleaning,orrepairing.
•Cleangrassanddebrisfromtheblades,drives,mufer,
andenginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoilorfuel
spillage.
•Lettheenginecoolbeforestoringanddonotstorenear
ame.
•Shutoffthefuelwhilestoringortransportingontrailers.
Donotstorefuelnearamesordrainindoors.
•Parkthemachineonlevel,hardground.Neverallow
untrainedpersonneltoserviceit.
•Usejackstandsorsafetylatchestosupportcomponents
whenrequired.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswithstored
energy.
•Removethespark-plugwirebeforemakinganyrepairs.
•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Ifpossible,
donotmakeadjustmentswiththeenginerunning.
•Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandallhardware
tightened.Replaceallwornordamageddecals.
•UseonlyToro-approvedattachments.Thewarranty
maybevoidedifthemachineisusedwithunapproved
attachments.

Safetydecalsandinstructionsareeasilyvisibletotheoperatorandarelocatednearanyareaofpotential
danger.Replaceanydecalthatisdamagedorlost.
