2.Lowertheailbladestothelowestposition.
3.Tiltthemachineforwardontoitsnose,andrestitona
blockofwood.
Note:Itwilltake2peopletotipthemachineforward
safely.
4.Spintheail-bladeassembly.
Note:Itshouldspinfreely.Ifitmakesagrinding
noiseandishalting,thebearingsareworn;replace
themwhenyoureplacetheblades.
5.Removethecotterpinfromtherodwiththeworn
downail(Figure21).
6.Carefullypullouttherodtoreleasetheailsand
spacers(Figure21).
7.Replaceworndownailswithnewonesanddiscard
theoldails.
