EmptyingtheFuelTank
Thefuellter(screen)elementislocatedinsidethe
fueltank.
1.Preparethemachineformaintenance;referto
PreparingforMaintenance(page21).
Important:Emptythefueltankwhenthe
engineiscool.
2.Placeadrainpanwitha3.8L(1USgallon)or
greatercapacityattheleftsideoftheengine.
3.Closethefuelvalve(Figure42).
4.Atthecarburetor,squeezetheendsofthehose
clamptogetherandmoveitawayfromthefuel
tting(Figure36).
