Important:Donotoperatetheenginewithouttheair
lterassembly;extremeenginedamagemayoccur.
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Wipedirtfromthebaseandthecoverwithamoistrag.
Note:Becarefultopreventdirtanddebrisfrom
enteringtheairductleadingtothecarburetor.
4.Removethecover,andremovethefoampre-cleaner
fromthecover(Figure25).
