Adjustingthe
Traction-ControlLinkage
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Pushthecontrolleverallthewayforwardtothe
frontreferencebar.
4.Ifthecontrollevercontactthereferencebar
ordonotcontactthereferencebarperform
thefollowing:
A.Releasethecontrolleverandallowitto
returntotheneutralposition.
B.Removethespring-clevispinfromthefork
ttingofthetraction-controllinkage(Figure
53).

C.Adjusttheforkttingtosettheinitialgap
asfollows:
•Ifthecontrollevercontactsthe
referencebar,rotatetheforktting
(Figure53)counterclockwise(asviewed
fromthetopofthemachine).
•Ifthecontrolleverdoesnotcontacts
thereferencebar,rotatetheforktting
(Figure53)counterclockwise.
D.Installthespringclevispin(Figure53)and
movethecontrolleverforward.
E.RepeatthisstepsAthroughDuntilthere
isagapapproximately1.6mm(1/16inch)
betweenthecontrolleverandthefront
referencebar.
F.Removethespring-clevispin,rotatethe
turnbuckleclockwise1additionalturn,and
insertthespring-clevispin(Figure53).
