CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundenginecoolingair
intakeandexhaustsystemareacancause
engine,exhaustarea,andhydraulicsystemto
overheat,whichcancreatearehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaust
systemarea.
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Cleanalldebrisfromscreenatthetopofthe
engine,aroundengineshrouding,andexhaust
systemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
RemovingtheEngine
ShroudsandCleaningthe
CoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every80hours
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Removecoolingshroudsfromengine.
3.Cleancoolingnsoftheengine.
Note:Alsocleandust,dirt,andoilfromexternal
surfacesofengine,whichcancauseimproper
cooling.
4.Installthecoolingshroudsintotheengine.
Note:Operatingtheenginewithoutcooling
shroudswillcauseenginedamagedueto
overheating.
CleaningtheDebrisfrom
theMachine
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
removethekey,andwaitforallmovingpartsto
stopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuilduponthe
machineandaeratordeck.
3.Cleanoffanydebrisorgrassunderthechain
guards,aroundthefueltank,andaroundthe
engineandexhaustarea.
WasteDisposal
DisposingoftheEngineOil
Engineoilandhydraulicuidarebothpollutantsto
theenvironment.Disposeofusedoilatacertied
recyclingcenteroraccordingtoyourstateandlocal
regulations.
DisposingoftheBattery
DANGER
Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid,
whichispoisonousandcancausesevere
burns.Swallowingelectrolytecanbefatalor
ifittouchesskincancausesevereburns.
•Wearsafetyglassestoshieldeyes,and
rubberglovestoprotectskinandclothing
whenhandlingelectrolyte.
•Donotswallowelectrolyte.
•Intheeventofanaccident,ushwithwater
andcalladoctorimmediately.
Federallawstatesthatbatteriesshouldnotbeplaced
inthegarbage.Managementanddisposalpractices
forbatteriesmustfollowrelevantfederal,state,or
locallaws.
Ifabatteryisbeingreplacedorifthemachine
containingthebatteryisnolongeroperatingandis
beingscrapped,removethebatteryandtakeittoa
localcertiedrecyclingcenter.Ifnolocalrecycling
isavailablereturnthebatterytoanycertiedbattery
reseller.
