Conditions
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,T oroWarrantyCompany,pursuantto
anagreementbetweenthem,jointlypromisetorepairtheT oroProduct
listedbelow,whenusedforresidentialpurposes*,ifdefectiveinmaterials
orworkmanshiporifitstopsfunctioningduetothefailureofacomponent,
fortheperiodlistedbelow.
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,T oroWarrantyCompany,pursuantto
anagreementbetweenthem,guaranteethatyourT oroGTS(Guaranteed
toStart)engine,whenusedforresidentialpurposes*,willstartonthe
rstorsecondpull,fortwo(2)yearsfromthedateofpurchase,provided
theroutinemaintenancerequiredintheOperator’sManualhavebeen
performed,orwewillxitfreeofcharge.TheGTSStartingGuarantee
doesnotapplyundercommercialuse.
Thiswarrantycoversthecostofpartsandlabor,butyoumustpay
transportationcosts.
*Residentialpurposesmeansuseoftheproductonthesamelotasyourhome.Useatmorethan
onelocationisconsideredcommercialuseandthecommercialwarrantywouldapply.

InstructionsforObtainingWarrantyService
IfyouthinkthatyourT oroProductcontainsadefectinmaterialsor
workmanship,orifanormal,able-bodiedadultcannolongerstartyour
product'sengineinoneortwopulls,followthisprocedure:
1.ContactanyAuthorizedToroServiceDealertoarrangeserviceat
theirdealership.T olocateadealerconvenienttoyou,accessourweb
siteatwww.Toro.com.Youmayalsocallthenumberslistedinitem#3
tousethe24-hourT oroDealerlocatorsystem.
2.Bringtheproductandyourproofofpurchase(salesreceipt)tothe
ServiceDealer.Thedealerwilldiagnosetheproblemanddetermineif
itiscoveredunderwarranty.

OwnerResponsibilities
YoumustmaintainyourT oroProductbyfollowingthemaintenance
proceduresdescribedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,
whetherperformedbyadealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Parts
scheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),
arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothescheduledreplacementtime
forthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenanceandadjustmentscan
begroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.
ItemsandConditionsNotCovered
Thereisnootherexpresswarrantyexceptforspecialemissionsystem
coverageandenginewarrantycoverageonsomeproducts.Thisexpress
warrantydoesnotcoverthefollowing:
•Costofregularmaintenanceserviceorreplacementofwearparts,such
asrotorblades(paddles),scraperblades,belts,fuel,lubricants,oil
changes,sparkplugs,lightbulbs,cable/linkageorbrakeadjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartwhichhasbeenalteredormisusedorneglected
orrequiresreplacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofproper
maintenance
•Pickupanddeliverycharges
•Operationalmisuse,neglect,oraccidents
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealer
•Repairsoradjustmentstocorrectstartingdifcultiesduetothe
following:
–Failuretofollowtherecommendedfuelprocedure(consultthe
Operator'sManualfordetails)
–Removingcontaminantsfromthefuelsystem
–Useofoldfuel(morethanonemonthold)orfuelwhichcontains
morethan10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-use
overonemonth
–Failuretofollowpropermaintenanceprocedures
–Improperfuel(consultyourOperator'sManualifindoubt)
–Snowthrowerauger/paddlesstrikinganobject
•Specialoperationalconditionswherestartingmayrequireadditional
attempts:
–Firsttimestartsafterextendedperiodofnon-useoverthree
monthsorseasonalstorage
–Startingin-10°F(-23°C)orbelowtemperatures
•Improperstartingprocedures-ifyouarehavingdifcultystartingyour
unit,pleasechecktheOperator'sManualtoensurethatyouareusing
thecorrectstartingprocedures.Thiscansaveanunnecessaryvisitto
anAuthorizedToroServiceDealer.
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorized
ToroServiceDealerusingToroapprovedreplacementparts.Repairbyan
AuthorizedT oroServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliablefor
indirect,incidental,orconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththe
useoftheToroProductscoveredbythesewarranties,includingany
costorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduring
reasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usependingcompletionof
repairsunderthesewarranties.
Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantability(thattheproductistforordinary
use)andtnessforuse(thattheproductistforaparticularpurpose)are
limitedtothedurationoftheexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequential
damages,orlimitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabove
exclusionsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveother
rightswhichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStatesorCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStatesorCanadashouldcontacttheirToroDistributor(Dealer)toobtainguarantee
policiesforyourcountry,province,orstate.IfforanyreasonyouaredissatisedwithyourDistributor'sserviceorhavedifcultyobtainingguarantee
information,contacttheT oroimporter.Ifallotherremediesfail,youmaycontactusatT oroWarrantyCompany.
