Wait10secondstobesuretherotorbladeshavestopped
rotating.
Alwaysuseaclean-outtool,notyourhands.

Liftthemachinehandleuntilthewheelsarejustoffthe
groundandthescraperandrotorbladestouchtheground,
Themachinewillpropelforward(Figure25).

Note:Byslightlyvaryingliftingforceonthehandle,youcan
controltheforwardspeedofthemachine.Inheavysnow,
pushforwardonthehandle,ifnecessary,butletthemachine
workatitsownpace.Donotliftthehandleanymorethan
necessary,becausethescraperwillliftoffthegroundand
snowwillescapebehindthemachine.
PreventingFreeze-upafterUse
Lettheenginerunforafewminutestopreventmoving
partsfromfreezing.Stoptheengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremoveiceandsnowfromthemachine.
Cleanoffanysnowandicefromthebaseofthechute.
Rotatethedischargechuteleftandrighttofreeitfrom
anyicebuildup.
WiththeignitionkeyintheOffposition,pulltherecoil
starterhandleseveraltimesorconnecttheelectricalcord
toapowersourceandthemachineandpushtheelectric
