1.Removethe2boltssecuringtheconnectingrodcaptotheconnectingrod.

Removetheconnectingrodcap.

2.Lightlyoilthepiston,pistonrings,cylinderwalls,andcrankshaftjournal.

3.Usingaringcompressor,insertthepistonassemblyintothecylinderwiththe

pistondometrianglemarkpointingdownwards.

4.Pushthepistonintotheboreuntiltheconnectingrodisatthecrankshaft

journal.
