10.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
11.Insertthedipstickintotheoil-lltube,screwitin,
thenremovethedipstick.
12.Readtheoillevelonthedipstick.
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoolow,
carefullypourasmallamountofoilinto
theoil-lltube,wait3minutes,andrepeat
steps10through12untiltheoillevelonthe
dipstickiscorrect.
Iftheoillevelonthedipstickistoohigh,
draintheexcessoiluntiltheoillevelonthe
dipstickiscorrect.
Important:Iftheoillevelintheengineistoo
lowortoohighandyouruntheengine,you
maydamagetheengine.
13.Installthedipstickintotheoil-lltubesecurely.

ServiceInterval:Yearly—Lubricatethehexshaft.
Lightlylubricatethehexshaftyearlywithautomotive
engineoil(Figure33).
