Conditions
TheT oroCompanyanditsafliate,ToroWarrantyCompany,pursuanttoanagreement
betweenthem,jointlypromisetorepairtheToroProductlistedbelow,whenusedfor
residentialpurposes*,ifdefectiveinmaterialsorworkmanshiporifitstopsfunctioning
duetothefailureofacomponent,fortheperiodlistedbelow.
Thiswarrantycoversthecostofpartsandlabor,butyoumustpaytransportationcosts.
*Residentialpurposesmeansuseoftheproductonthesamelotasyourhome.Useatmorethan
onelocationisconsideredcommercialuseandthecommercialwarrantywouldapply.

OwnerResponsibilities
YoumustmaintainyourToroProductbyfollowingthemaintenanceprocedures
describedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,whetherperformedby
adealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Partsscheduledforreplacementasrequired
maintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothe
scheduledreplacementtimeforthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenance
andadjustmentscanbegroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.
ItemsandConditionsNotCovered
Thereisnootherexpresswarrantyexceptforspecialemissionsystemcoverage
andenginewarrantycoverageonsomeproducts.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnot
coverthefollowing:
•Costofregularmaintenanceserviceorreplacementofwearparts,suchasrotor
blades(paddles),scraperblades,belts,fuel,lubricants,oilchanges,sparkplugs,
lightbulbs,cable/linkageorbrakeadjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartwhichhasbeenalteredormisusedorneglectedorrequires
replacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofpropermaintenance
•Pickupanddeliverycharges
•Operationalmisuse,neglect,oraccidents
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedT oroService

–Failuretofollowtherecommendedfuelprocedure(consulttheOperator's

–Removingcontaminantsfromthefuelsystem
–Useofoldfuel(morethanonemonthold)orfuelwhichcontainsmorethan
10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-useoverone
month
–Failuretofollowpropermaintenanceprocedures
–Improperfuel(consultyourOperator'sManualifindoubt)
–Snowthrowerauger/paddlesstrikinganobject
•Specialoperationalconditionswherestartingmayrequireadditionalattempts:
–Firsttimestartsafterextendedperiodofnon-useoverthreemonthsor
seasonalstorage
–Startingin-10°F(-23°C)orbelowtemperatures
•Improperstartingprocedures-ifyouarehavingdifcultystartingyourunit,
pleasechecktheOperator'sManualtoensurethatyouareusingthecorrect
startingprocedures.ThiscansaveanunnecessaryvisittoanAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealer.
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorizedToro
ServiceDealerusingT oroapprovedreplacementparts.RepairbyanAuthorizedToro
ServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliableforindirect,
incidental,orconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththeuseofthe
ToroProductscoveredbythesewarranties,includinganycostorexpense
ofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduringreasonableperiodsof
malfunctionornon-usependingcompletionofrepairsunderthesewarranties.
Allimpliedwarrantiesofmerchantability(thattheproductistforordinaryuse)and
tnessforuse(thattheproductistforaparticularpurpose)arelimitedtotheduration
oftheexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,or
limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheaboveexclusionsmaynot
applytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStatesorCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStatesorCanadashouldcontacttheirToroDistributor(Dealer)toobtainguaranteepoliciesforyourcountry,
province,orstate.IfforanyreasonyouaredissatisedwithyourDistributor'sserviceorhavedifcultyobtainingguaranteeinformation,contacttheToroimporter.Ifallother
remediesfail,youmaycontactusatToroWarrantyCompany.
