1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.
2.Cleantheareaaroundthepipeplugandremove
thepipeplugfromthegearbox(Figure37).
Note:Ifneeded,useplierstoassistinremoving
thepipeplug.

beapproximately3.8cm(1.5inches)belowthe

checktheoillevelagain.

5.Installthepipepluginthegearbox.

Every50hours—Changetheengineoil.
Changetheengineoilevery25operatinghours
whenoperatingtheengineunderaheavyload.
Ifpossible,runtheengineforafewminutesbefore
changingtheoilbecausewarmoilowsbetterand
carriesmorecontaminants.

6.Cleanaroundtheoilll/dipstick.
7.Unscrewthedipstickandremoveit.
8.Carefullypourabout3/4oftheenginecapacity
ofoilintotheoil-lltube.
