GeneralInformation
Thehandlemountedtriggersallowclutchingthewheelssimultaneouslyor
independently,oneorbothwheelscan“freewheel.”Thisfeaturemakesturning,
reversing,andtractioncontrolsimpleandefcient.
Whenthedriveisengaged,itisengagingthefrictionwheel.Thehexshaftturns
anddrivesthechain(s)tothe32–toothsprocketbydrivingthe44–toothgear
poweringthewheels.Eachwheelisdeclutchedbyengagingitshandlemounted
trigger;thispullstheclutchcablewhichrotatestheshiftcollar.Theshiftcollar
followingthecamisforcedoutwardstowardthewheel,inturn,pushingintothe
springloadedpawlstodisengagethe11–toothpiniongearfromthe32–tooth
sprocket.
