Important:Thebatterypackisnotfullycharged
whenyoupurchaseit.Beforeusingthetoolfor
thersttime,placethebatterypackinthecharger
andchargeituntiltheLEDdisplayindicatesthe
batterypackisfullycharged.Readallsafety
precautions.
Important:Chargethebatterypackonlyin
temperaturesthatarewithintheappropriate
range;refertoSpecications(page11).
Note:Atanytime,pressthebattery-charge-indicator
buttononthebatterypacktodisplaythecurrent
charge(LEDindicators).

chargerareclearofanydustanddebris.

Important:Thebatterycanbeleftonthecharger
forshortperiodsbetweenuses.Ifthebatterywill
notbeusedforlongerperiods,removethebattery
fromthecharger;refertoStorage(page15).
OperatingTips
•Startthemachineandtiltitforwarduntilthe
scraperbladecontactstheground.Pushthe
machineforwardatacomfortablerateofspeed,
yetslowenoughtoclearthepathcompletely.The
widthanddepthofthesnowdeterminesyour
forwardspeed.
•Forthemostefcientsnowremoval,throwthe
snowdownwind,andslightlyoverlapeachswath.
•Themachinecanremovesnowupto15cm(6
inches)deepinonepass.Whenclearingdeeper
drifts,holdthemachinebytheupperandlower
handlesanduseaswingingorsweepingmotion.
Removeamaximumof15cm(6inches)witheach
passandrepeatasmanytimesasrequired.
