itsownenginewarrantyandspecialemissionsystemwarranty.Ifapplicable,the
documentationwillbeprovidedwithyourproduct.

YoumustmaintainyourT oroProductbyfollowingthemaintenanceprocedures
describedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,whetherperformedby
adealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Partsscheduledforreplacementasrequired
maintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothe
scheduledreplacementtimeforthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenance
andadjustmentscanbegroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.
ItemsandConditionsNotCovered
Notallproductfailuresormalfunctionsthatoccurduringthewarrantyperiodare
defectsinmaterialsorworkmanship.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnotcoverthe
following:
•Costofregularmaintenanceorparts,suchasfuel,lubricants,oilchanges,
cable/linkageadjustments,rotorblades(paddles),scraperblades,belts,spark
plugs,lightbulbs,orbrakeadjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartthathasbeenaltered,misused,neglected,requires
replacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofpropermaintenance
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedT oroService
Center
•Failuretofollowthefuelinginstructionsandrequirements(consulttheOperator's
Manualfordetails),suchas:
–Useofoldfuel(morethan1monthold)orfuelwhichcontainsmorethan
10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-useover1month
–Improperfuel
•Repairsoradjustmentsduetothefollowing:
–Contaminantsinthefuelsystem
–Failuretoperformtherequiredmaintenanceand/oradjustments
–Snowthrowerauger/paddlesstrikinganobject
–Improperstartingprocedures
•Specialoperationalconditionswherestartingmayrequiremorethan2pulls:
–First-timestartsafteranextendedperiodofnon-useover3monthsor
seasonalstorage
–Startingthemachineintemperaturesbelow-23°C(-10°F)
•Productfailuresresultingfromtheuseofmodiedorunapprovedaccessories
ornon-T oroparts.
•Failurescausedbyoutsideinuence,including,butnotlimitedto,weather;
storagepractices;contamination;ortheuseofunapprovedcoolants,lubricants,
additives,orchemicals
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealerusingToroapprovedreplacementparts.RepairbyanAuthorizedT oro
ServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
TheToroCompanyisnotliableforindirect,incidental,orconsequential
damagesinconnectionwiththeuseoftheToroProductscoveredbythese
warranties,includinganycostorexpenseofprovidingsubstituteequipment
orserviceduringreasonableperiodsofmalfunctionornon-usepending
completionofrepairsunderthesewarranties.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,sothe
aboveexclusionsmaynotapplytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStates,Mexico,orCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStates,Mexico,
orCanadashouldcontacttheirT oroAuthorizedServiceCentertoobtainwarranty
policiesforyourcountry,province,orstate.Foradditionalquestionsregarding
warrantytermsandconditions,youmaycontactTheT oroCompany.
AustralianConsumerLaw
OurgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedundertheAustralian
ConsumerLaw.Youareentitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajorfailureand
compensationforanyotherreasonablyforeseeablelossordamage.Y ouarealso
entitledtohavethegoodsrepairedorreplacedifthegoodsfailtobeofacceptable
qualityandthefailuredoesnotamounttoamajorfailure.
