Installing the Center Boom
1. Position the machine on a level surface, stop the engine,
engage parking brake, and remove the key.
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone
could accidently start the engine and seriously
injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition switch before
you do any maintenance.
Caution
2. Install the center boom frame to the sprayer using the
frame mounting brackets, 2 bolts (1/2 x 3 inches), 2
bolts (1/2 x 1-1/4 inch), 2 spacers, and 4 flange nuts
(1/2 inch) as shown in Figure 1.
3. Torque the fasteners to 105 ft-lb (142 Nâ‹…m).
4. Tighten the 4 boom frame bolts (1/2 x 1–1/4 inches)
and 4 flange nuts (1/2 inch).
