CALIBRATION: To ensure accurate operation, the SPEED-METER must be properly calibrated. Follow these instructions for calibrating speed. NOTE: The unit of measure designation for speed is not dismayed on the console. The unit of measure (MPH or kph) for the speed digits that are displayed will depend on the distance which is used for calibration. The calibration procedure requires that the vehicle be driven the distance that is 10% of the target distance unit.
CONSOLE OPERATION: The Speed-o-meter has four standard functions, SPEED, DISTANCE (in miles), HOURS and TRIP DISTANCE (to tenths of mile).
