1100 CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

VENT TUBE OPTION

PROCEDURE:

1. Remove the top Pipe Plug from Pump, apply

thread sealer and install 1/8" Street Elbow into

Pump and install Vent Tube Shut-off Valve into

Elbow. See FIG. 1 & 2. (Street Elbow should be

painted to prevent rust)

2. Drill a 3/4" diameter hole through top of tank

between the front of Tank and Tank Band.

Assemble the 90° Elbow and hose washer in

hole. Install Nut and tighten on inside of tank.

See FIG. 3, page 2.

NOTICE:

This option can be installed on the Multi Pro

1100 to improve priming of the Centrifugal

Spray Pump. Follow the procedure for

operation outlined at the end of this

Instruction Sheet.

The Vent Tube that is installed with this option

can function as an external sight tube when

the Vent Tube Shut-off Valve is open. External

sight tubes are not allowed in some states.

Check your state and local regulations before

installing this option.

Follow the procedure for operation outlined at the end of this Instruction Sheet. 21 The Vent Tube that is installed with this option can function as an external sight tube when the Vent Tube Shut-off Valve is open. 1 Center of Tank 3” 3 2 2 1996 1 FIG. 3 1. 90° Hose Barb 2. Tank Band 3. Connect Vent Tube Shut-off Valve and 90° Elbow with1/4" x 54" clear hose. Trim to 36" long. Secure with (2) hose clamps. NOTE: The hose connecting the Vent Tube Shut-off Valve to the 90° Elbow must be angled upward the entire length of the hose. Downward dips in the hose will not allow air to escape from pump. 4. Use R-Clamps to secure clear hose. Install clamps using bolts attaching Hold-in Bracket. See FIG. 4 and 5.
