1100 Replacement Engine Availability
The Kohler Command 18 H. P. (Spec number PS-62517) engine, currently used in the
production of the Multi Pro
®
1100 is now available as a replacement part, under part
number 92-0492.
It is a direct replacement for Multi Pro
®
1100’s with serial numbers 60339 and above.
To comply with C.A.R.B. emissions Mid -1996 production vehicles required a larger
Muffler and Header Pipe. This began with serial number 60339.
In the event this C.A.R.B. Certified engine is used as a replacement part on a vehicle
with serial number 60338 and below, it will become necessary to replace the Muffler,
Header Pipe and the Muffler Clamp with C.A.R.B. components. (A new Exhaust Gasket
is included with the Engine.) Therefore the following parts will also be required when
installing Engine 92-0492 in a vehicle with a serial number of 60338 and below.
