Subject: Hose Reel or Spray Gun Difficult to Adjust.
SITUATION: Note: This information pertains to all Hose Reel or Spray Gun Kits
that use this Ball Valve (104-9069) now and in the future. The
situation described has only been found on very few units within the
listed range. Improperly positioned Ball Valve handles will cause a
lack of adjustability with the hose reel. The result of the handle being
positioned improperly is high system pressures that cannot be
lowered and excessive vibration due to system going over relief
constantly.
CORRECTION: Verify the handle of the Ball Valve controlling the Hose Reel or Spray
Gun Kits is positioned correctly. When positioned correctly the arrow
on the handle always points to the largest opening in the Ball. To
verify the handle is correctly positioned:
Turn the handle counterclockwise until it contacts the stop.
Verify that the arrow is pointing toward the rear of the vehicle.
Remove the rear hose from the Ball Valve and verify that the
largest hole in the Ball is facing the rear of the machine. (Refer to
figures 1 and 2)
If the handle is positioned incorrectly in reference to the large hole,
remove the handle and reposition correctly.
