Ifyouinstallthesonicboomand/orthefoammarker
kit,youwilladdswitchestothecontrolpanelfor
controllingtheiroperation.Thesprayercomeswith
plasticplugsintheselocations.
Regulating(RateControl)Valve
Thisvalve,locatedbehindthetank(Figure34),controls
theamountofuidthatisroutedtotheboomsby
directinguidowtotheboomsorthebypasshose
totheagitationvalve.

Theowmetermeasurestheowrateoftheuidfor
usebytheSprayProsystem(Figure34).
BoomValves
Thesevalvesturnthethreeboomsonoroff(Figure34).
Ifyoudonothaveaboominstalledordonotwant
aboomtobeabletobeturnedon,youcanmanually
operateeachvalvebydisconnectingthewireconnector
inthevalve,thenrotatetheknobonthevalveclockwise
toturnthevalveofforcounterclockwisetoturniton.
BoomBypassValves
Theboombypassvalvesredirecttheuidowfora
boomtothetankwhenyouturnofftheboomsection.
Youcanadjustthesevalvestoensurethattheboom
pressureremainsconstantnomatterhowmanybooms
areon.RefertoCalibratingtheBoomBypassValves,
intheOperationsection.
AgitationControlValve
Thisvalveislocatedontherightsideofthetank
(
Figure35).Turntheknobonthevalvetothe9o’clock
positiontoturnonthetankagitationandtothe3
o’clockpositiontoturnoffthetankagitation.

Note:Foragitationtowork,thePTOandclutchmust
beengaged,andtheenginemustberunningabovean
idle.Ifyoustopthesprayerandneedagitationon,place
therangeshiftleverintheNeutralposition,letoutthe
clutch,settheparkingbrake,andsetthehandthrottle
(ifequipped).
PressureGauge
Thepressuregaugeislocatedtotherightofthetank
(Figure35).Thisgaugeshowsthepressureoftheuid
inthesysteminpsiandbar.
TankDrainHandle
Thetankdrainhandleislocatedontopofthetank
(
Figure36).Toopenthetankdrain,loosenthenutand
pullupwardsontheT-handleuntilthedesireddrain
owisachieved.
Important:Pullthehandlegently.Donotpull
toohardoryoumaydamagethetankdrain
components.
Tightentheplasticnutlockatthebaseofthehandle
lockthetankdrainintheopenposition.Whenthe
tankhasdrained,loosentheplasticnutandpushthe
T-handledownuntilitstops.Tightentheplasticnutto
securethetankdrainintheclosedposition.
