Thetankcoverislocatedinthecenterofthetopofthe
tank(
Figure37).Toopenit,turnofftheengineand
settheparkingbrake,thenturnthefronthalfofthe
covertotheleftandswingitopen.Youcanremove
thestrainerinsideforcleaning.Tosealthetank,replace
thestrainerifremoved,closethecover,androtatethe
fronthalftowardtheright.

Theanti-siphonllreceptacle,infrontofthetank
cover,isahosereceptaclewithathreadedttinganda
90degreebarbedttingwhichyoucandirecttoward
thetankopening(Figure37).Thisreceptacleallows
youtoconnectawaterhoseandllthetankwithout
contaminatingthehoseandwatersupplywiththe
chemicalsinthetank.Cutthehosetoalengththat
allowstheminimumdistancebetweenthewaterandthe
endofthehosewithoutthehosetouchingthewater
andcomplyingwithlocalregulations,typically4to8
inches(10to20cm).
Important:Donotallowthehosereceptacleto
contacttankuids.Donotlengthenthehoseto
allowcontactwiththetankuids.
