1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,settheparking

brake,stopthepump,stoptheengine,andremove

theignitionkey.

2.Removetheretainerfromtheredttingattachedto

thelargehoseonthetopofthetank(

4.Pullthesuctionstraineroutofthehole(Figure57).

5.Cleanthesuctionstrainerwithcleanrunningwater.

6.Replacethesuctionstrainer,seatingitfullyintothe

hole.

7.Connectthehosetothetopofthetankandsecure

itwiththeretainer.

Storage

1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,setthe

parkingbrake,disengagethePTO,stoptheengine,

andremovetheignitionkey.

2.Cleandirtandgrimefromtheentiremachine,

includingtheoutsideoftheengine’scylinderhead

nsandblowerhousing.

Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith

milddetergentandwater.Donotusehigh

pressurewatertowashthemachine.Pressure

washingmaydamagetheelectricalsystemor

washawaynecessarygreaseatfrictionpoints.

Avoidexcessiveuseofwater,especiallynearthe

controlpanel,lights,engine,andthebattery.

3.Cleanthespraysystem;refertotheCleaningsection.

4.Addarustinhibiting,non-alcoholbased,RV

antifreezesolutiontothesystemandrunthepump

forafewminutestocirculateitthroughthesystem,

thendrainthespraysystemascompletelyaspossible.

5.Usetheboomliftswitchestoraisethebooms.Raise

theboomsuntilhavemovedcompletelyintoboom

transportcradleformingthe“X”transportposition

andtheboomcylindersarefullyretracted.Make

suretheboomcylindersarefullyretractedtoprevent

actuatorroddamage.

6.Inspectthebrakes;refertotheWorkmanOperator’s

Manual.

7.Servicetheaircleaner;refertotheWorkman

Operator’sManual.

8.Greasethesprayer;refertotheLubricationsection.

9.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repair

orreplaceanypartthatisdamaged.

10.Checktheconditionofallsprayhoses,replacingany

thataredamagedorworn.

11.Tightenallhosettings.

12.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.

13.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstorage

area.

14.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
