Wipeupanyspilledgasoline.
Useonlyanapprovednon-metal,portablefuel
container.Staticelectricdischargecanignitegasoline
vaporsinaungroundedfuelcontainer.Removethe
fuelcontainerfromthebedofthevehicleandplace
onthegroundawayfromthevehiclebeforelling.
Keepnozzleincontactwithcontainerwhilelling.
Checkthesafetyinterlocksystemdailyforproper
operation.Ifaswitchshouldmalfunction,replace
theswitchbeforeoperatingmachine.
WhileOperating

Engineexhaustcontainscarbonmonoxide,which
isanodorless,deadlypoisonthatcankillyou.
Donotrunengineindoorsorinanenclosedarea.
Operatorandpassengershouldremainseated
wheneverthevehicleisinmotion.Operatorshould
keepbothhandsonsteeringwheel,whenever
possibleandpassengershouldusehandholds
provided.Keeparmsandlegswithinthevehicle
bodyatalltimes.Nevercarrypassengersinthebox
oronattachments.Rememberyourpassengermay
notbeexpectingyoutobrakeorturnandmaynot
beready.
Alwayswatchoutforandavoidlowoverhangssuch
astreelimbs,doorjambs,andover-headwalkways.
Makesurethereisenoughroomoverheadtoeasily
clearthevehicle,sprayerboomsandyourhead.
Whenstartingtheengine:
Sitonoperator’sseatandensureparkingbrake
isengaged.
DisengagePTO(ifsoequipped)andreturnhand
throttlelevertoOffposition(ifsoequipped).
MoveshiftlevertoNeutralanddepressclutch
pedal.
Keepfootoffacceleratorpedal.
TurnignitionkeytoStart.
Usingthemachinedemandsattention.Failureto
operatevehiclesafelymayresultinanaccident,tip
overofvehicleandseriousinjuryordeath.Drive
carefully.Topreventtippingorlossofcontrol:
Useextremecaution,reducespeedandmaintain
asafedistancearoundsandtraps,ditches,creeks,
ramps,andanyunfamiliarareasorotherhazards.
Watchforholesorotherhiddenhazards.
Usecautionwhenoperatingvehicleonasteep
slope.Normallytravelstraightupanddown
slopes.Reducespeedwhenmakingsharpturns
orwhenturningonhillsides.Avoidturningon
