3. Install the new co v er assembly to the transaxle

using the four bolts remo v ed in Ste p 1

( Figure 6 ). T he cor rect orientation of the co v er

will ha v e the seal facing up and positioned

to w ard the left hand side of the v ehicle .

4. Install the g ear tooth sensor using the screw

(M6 x 1.00 x 12) and spring w asher (M6) as

sho wn in Figure 6 .

assembly .

Installing the Electrical

Harness

Parts needed for this step:

Fuse block

Fuse (10 amp)

Thermal breaker (30 amp)

Hex screw (#10-24 x 3/4 inch)

Phillips screw (#10-24 x 3/4 inch)

Locknut (#10-24)

Wire harness

Star washer

Wire tires

Fuse decal

Procedure

1. R emo v e the screws holding the front hood

to the frame . Disconnect the wiring har ness

attac hed to the headlights . R emo v e the hood

to access the electrical wiring .

2. Locate the electrical wire har ness and fuse

bloc k in loose par ts .

3. R emo v e the tw o screws from the existing fuse

bloc k and slide the new fuse bloc k into the

g roo v es of the existing bloc k.

4. Wire the electrical har ness to the fuse bloc k

b y joining the wires in the har ness to the

cor responding wire connectors in the bac k of

the fuse bloc k ( Figure 7 ).
