B . Pull up on the T -handle until the desired
drain flo w is ac hiev ed.
Important: Pull the handle gentl y .
Do not pull too hard or y ou may dama ge
the tank drain components.
C . Tighten the plastic n ut loc k at the base of
the handle loc k the tank drain in the open
position.
D . W hen the tank has drained, loosen the
plastic n ut and push the T -handle do wn
until it stops .
E. Tighten the plastic n ut to secure the tank
drain in the closed position.
Note: T he plastic n ut on the tank drain
should be tightened when not in use to
prev ent leaks at the drain handle .
3. Fill the tank with at least 50 US g allons (190 L)
of clean fresh w ater and close the co v er .
Note: Y ou can use a cleaning/neutralizing
ag ent in the w ater as needed. On the final
rinse , use only clean, clear w ater .
4. Star t the engine .
5. With the shift lev er in the Neutral position,
eng ag e the PTO , and set the hand throttle .
6. Ensure that the agitation control v alv e is in the
On position.
7. Set the master boom switc h and boom control
switc hes to the On positions to begin spra ying .
8. Allo w all of the w ater in the tank to spra y out
though the nozzles .
9. Chec k the nozzles to ensure that they are all
spra ying cor rectly .
10. Set the master boom switc h to the Off position,
diseng ag e the PTO , and stop the engine .
11. R e peat ste ps 3 through 10 at least 2 more times
to ensure that the spra y system is fully cleaned.
12. Clean the strainer; refer to Cleaning the Suction
Strainer in Cleaning , pag e 46 .
Important: If y ou used w eta ble po w der
chemicals, clean the strainer after each
tank.
13. Using a g arden hose , spra y off the outside of
the spra yer with clean w ater .
14. R emo v e the nozzles and clean them b y hand.
