Operator's Manual

Before ser vicing or making adjustments to
the mac hine , stop the engine , set the parking
brak e , and remo v e the k ey from the ignition
to prev ent someone from accidentally star ting
the engine .
Empty the tank before tilting or remo ving
spra yer from v ehicle and before storag e .
Nev er w ork under a spra yer without using tank
suppor t prop rod.
Mak e sure all h y draulic line connectors are
tight, and all h y draulic hoses and lines are in
g ood condition before applying pressure to the
system.
K ee p body and hands a w a y from pin hole leaks
or nozzles that eject h y draulic fluid under high
pressure . Use paper or cardboard, not hands ,
to searc h for leaks .
Hy draulic fluid escaping under pr essur e
can ha v e suf ficient f orce to penetrate
skin and do serious dama ge.
If fluid is injected into the skin it must be
surgicall y r emo v ed within a few hour s by
a doctor f amiliar with this f or m of injur y
or gang r ene may r esult.
Before disconnecting or perfor ming any
w ork on the h y draulic system, all pressure in
system m ust be reliev ed b y stopping engine ,
cycling dump v alv e from raise to lo w er and/or
lo w ering bo x and attac hments . If bo x m ust be
in raised position, secure with safety suppor t.
T o mak e sure entire mac hine is in g ood
condition, k ee p all n uts , bolts and screws
properly tightened.
T o reduce potential fire hazard, k ee p the engine
area free of ex cessi v e g rease , g rass , lea v es and
accum ulation of dir t.
If the engine m ust be r unning to perfor m a
maintenance adjustment, k ee p hands , feet,
clothing, and any par ts of the body a w a y
from the engine and any mo ving par ts . K ee p
ev er y one a w a y .
Do not o v erspeed engine b y c hanging
g o v er nor settings . Maxim um engine speed
is 3650 r pm. T o assure safety and accuracy ,
ha v e an A uthorized TOR O Distributor c hec k
maxim um engine speed with a tac hometer .
If major re pairs are ev er needed or assistance
is required, contact an A uthorized T oro
Distributor .
