Procedure
DANGER
Thesprayertankassemblyrepresentsastored
energyhazard.Ifnotproperlyretainedwhen
installingorremovingtheassemblyitcanmoveor
fallandinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Usestrapsandanoverheadlifttosupportthe
sprayertankassemblyduringinstallation,removal
oranymaintenancewhentheretainingfasteners
arebeingremoved.
1.Usingalift,raisethetankskidassemblyandposition
overthevehicleframewiththepumpandvalve
assembliesfacingrearward.
Note:Thefollowingstepsarerecommendedtobe
performedwiththehelpofanotherperson.
2.Slowlylowerthetankskidtotheframe.
3.Reconnectthenegativebatterycableandstartthe
vehicletoenergizethehydraulicpumps.
4.Extendtheliftcylinderstothebracketsonthetank
skid.Alignthecylinderarmswiththeholesinthetank
skidbrackets(Figure20).
