Subject: Heavy Duty Centrifugal Pump Seals.
Some application products and combinations of products used in the spray system can
adversely effect Centrifugal Pump Seals resulting in premature seal failure.
To assist our customers, optional Heavy Duty Seals are now available for Hypro
®
and
Memphis Centrifugal Pumps with cast-iron housings.
IMPORTANT: To maximize the efficiency of any spray system, always follow proper
operation, guidelines. Correct filling and cleaning procedures will
maximize equipment durability and performance.
The following seals are currently available through your local Toro Distributor.
Hypro
®
, Heavy Duty Seal Kit 99-0581,
(contains Seal 99-0582 & O-Ring 42089)
Memphis, Heavy Duty Seal 41740.
O-Ring (92-0018) not included with Memphis Heavy Duty Seal.
A Poly Impeller identifies Hypro Pumps 41776, 93-0848 and 93-6505.
A Cast-iron Impeller identifies Memphis Pumps 99226 and 97802.
NOTE: When replacing a Pump Seal it is recommended to replace the O-Ring
and Bearings.
