NOTE: The Multi-Pro
®
5600 vehicle is pre-wired
for the Foam Marker Kit and does not need the
wiring harness furnished in the kit. The
instructions will explain where the connectors are
located and how to make the connections. Use
the following instructions, illustrations and steps
in Form No. 104-8843 REV. A, as noted.
1. Remove the Throttle Knob by unscrewing it
from the Throttle Rod at the Center Console.
2. Release the latch and remove the Switch Panel
ASM from the Center Console ASM (FIG. 3).
3. Remove Foam Marker Switch Hole Plugs.
Install the two Rocker Switches into the Switch
Panel. Insure their orientation matches the
illustration on Page 5, FIG. 13, with the notch to
the rear of the vehicle. This notch indicates the
end of the Switch to which the Harness
Connector Locking Arm will mate.
4. Plug the Harness Connectors found in the
Center Console into the Foam Marker Switches.
The Plugs in the Harness are marked; Boom
Foam RS/LS Switch. The LS Connector has
yellow with blue stripe wire and RS Connector
has blue with gray stripe wire.
5. Reinstall the Switch Panel and secure latch.
Screw the Throttle Knob onto the Throttle Rod
hand tight.
6. Install the Tank/Compressor ASM and the
Mixer ASM, per the set-up instructions, for the
Multi-Pro
®
5500 on Page 1, instructions 1, 2, & 3,
FIG. 1 and FIG. 2.

7. Connect the Tank/Compressor - Locate the
Wiring Harness Connectors furnished with the
vehicle for the Foam Marker. These are located
along the right side Frame Rail strapped to the
vehicle's harness, approximately at the location
where the Tank/Compressor is installed. Make
the connections by plugging the Connectors
together. NOTE: Both Plug Connections Are
The Same (Page 2, FIG. 4).
8. Connect the Boom Solenoid - Locate the
Wiring Harness Connectors furnished with the
vehicle for the Foam Marker. These are located
at the center section of the Boom. Plug the
Harness Connectors into the Boom Solenoids at
the Mixer Tee ASM. Plug Connector with blue
wire to the right Solenoid and Connector with
yellow wire to the left Solenoid (Page 2, FIG. 5).
9. Continue installation of Foam Marker by
following instructions in paragraphs 13-22 and
25-27, on Pages 2-4, in Form #104-8843 REV. A.
10. To finish the installation of the Foam Marker,
insert the 20-amp fuse. The Foam Marker is
powered from the Accessory Fuse Block. The
Fuse should be inserted in the second Fuse slot
in the Block. This is determined from the front of
the vehicle. Reference FIG. 10, Page 4, to identify
the Fuse Block and location of the 20-amp fuse.
NOTE: "RIGHT" AND "LEFT", "FRONT" and
"REAR" reference the operator's directions
when seated in the normal operating
position.
