Operation
Theconsolecomputerautomaticallycontrolsthespray
applicationrateforvaryingvehiclespeeds.Yousetthetarget
volumeperunitareatosprayandtheconsolecomputer
automaticallymaintainstheowwithintheproperrangeof
thevehiclespeedandcontinuallydisplaystheactualvolume
ofmaterialperareasprayed.Theconsolecomputeralso
monitorstheareasprayed,thespeedofthevehicle,andthe
totalvolumeofmaterialsprayed.
Important:Amanualoverrideswitchallowsthe
operatortomanuallycontroltheowforsystem
inspectionandspotspraying.
Note:Iftheconsolecomputermalfunctions,youcanspray
manuallybyunpluggingthecablesfromtherearofthe
consolecomputer.Youcanthencontrolthesprayapplication
rateusingthecenterconsolecontrols.
Inthissection,theprocedurewillusethefollowingnaming
convention:
•Thelabelsontheconsolecomputerkeysareenclosedin
brackets.Forexample:Pressthe[Enter]key.
•Thedatayouenterisinboldfacetypeprecededbythe
wordPress.Forexample:Press123.
•Thedatashowninthedisplayisinnormaltype,with
lettersinallcaps.
InitiallyProgrammingthe
ConsoleComputer
Youmustrstprogramtheconsolecomputerbeforeyou
canuseittooperatethespraysystem.Youneedtoperform
thisoperationonlywhenyouturnontheconsolecomputer
forthersttime.
TurnthepowerswitchtotheOnposition.
Note:TheconsolescreenshowsthemessageCALinthe
display.

ToselecttheunitsforUS(volumeperacre),SI(volumeper
hectare),orTU(volumeper1,000sq.ft.):
1.Pressthe[CE]keyuntilyouseeyourdesiredcode(US,
SI,TU)inthedisplay.
2.Pressthe[Enter]key.
Note:Ifyoumakeadataentryerror,resettheconsole
computerbyturningthepowerswitchtotheOff
positionand,whilepressingandholdingthe[CE]key,
turningthepowerswitchtotheOnposition.
