Subject: Uneven distribution of fine grain sand.
When attempting to spread a light even layer of very fine or wet sand, the material may
tend to slip on the belt. This slippage may result in no or uneven distribution of the
material.
A "Pebble Top" Conveyor Belt (01-271-0390) is available and was factory installed on the
Topdresser 1800 beginning with serial number 40411. The design of the belt surface
reduces material slippage that may occur under isolated conditions when applying fine or
wet sand. This belt is available through your local Toro distributor.
Once stock of the original Conveyor Belt has been depleted all future orders will cross
reference to "Pebble Top" Conveyor Belt (01-271-0390).
