Subject: "Pebble Top" Belt for even distribution of fine sand.
A "Pebble Top" Conveyor Belt (01-271-0380) is available for the units listed above that
improves performance in certain conditions. The design of the belt surface reduces
material slippage that may occur under isolated conditions when applying fine or wet
sand. In order to use this belt in the units listed above, the original gate should be
replaced with Gate (23-002-0031). The original gate will not withstand the increase in
forces from the "Pebble Top" Conveyor Belt. Installation instructions are shown below.
NOTE: Original Conveyor Belt (01-271-0210) will continue to be available.
Instructions for Gate installation
1. Remove both existing Adjustment Lugs.
2. Remove and discard the Gate from the Slide Brackets in the frame.
3. Slide the improved Gate (23-002-0031) into the Slide Brackets as previously installed.
4. Fasten the Adjustment Lugs to the Gate as shown.
